Privacy Policy
SEAOPS is an offline notebook for marine engineers. This policy explains what happens to the information you put into the app. In short: your records stay on your phone, we cannot see them, and we do not collect personal data.

Information you enter
Engine tasks, technical notes, Engine Log entries, saved formulas, tags and your app settings (such as light or dark appearance) are saved in the app's private storage on your phone. SEAOPS does not send this information to us or to anyone else, and the developer has no server that receives it.
Android's automatic cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are switched off for SEAOPS, so your records are not copied to Google Drive or another device without your action.
Backup files you create
If you use Backup & Restore, the app writes a backup file to the location you choose with Android's file picker, for example your phone's storage or a cloud folder you select. That file contains your records in readable form. Once it is saved, it is under your control and is governed by the privacy terms of wherever you saved it. Restoring reads a file you pick and adds its records to the app.
Purchases
SEAOPS Premium is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Google Play. Payment details are handled entirely by Google; SEAOPS never sees your card or payment information. The app asks Google Play only whether Premium has been purchased on your Google account, and remembers the answer on your device so Premium works offline. Google's handling of purchase data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Internet access
The app's features work without an internet connection. The internet and network-state permissions are included only because the Google Play Billing library needs them to process and confirm purchases.
Deleting your data
- Delete individual tasks, notes, log entries or formulas inside the app.
- Remove everything with Android Settings → Apps → SEAOPS → Storage → Clear storage, or by uninstalling the app.
- Delete any backup files you saved, from wherever you saved them.
Because we hold no copy of your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
Children
SEAOPS is a professional tool intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of SEAOPS changes how information is handled, this page will be updated and the effective date above will change before that version is released.
